- Interactive performance during the one day show ‘El Verano es mágico’ in gallery Bikini Wax in Leon, Mexico. Beforehand I asked the visitors via the invitation to bring their trash of the day. During a five hour performance I kept on organising and wrapping the stuff that they were bringing me. This continued by taking in the trash from the event itself and ended in the installation you see in the last picture.
The work was inspired by the men who separate trash in the streets of Mexico City.
I was fascinated by the aesthetic of their improvised forms of packing and played with way of working by exaggerating this.
